KPop Demon Hunters x Funko – Influencer Marketing
A passionate fan community deserves more than a typical retail event. For the one-year anniversary of KPop Demon Hunters, Funko transformed Funko Hollywood into an immersive celebration of the franchise, inviting creators and fans to experience exclusive merchandise, interactive activations and first-look moments inspired by the beloved property.
MKM sourced and coordinated 31 influencers and their guests to attend the anniversary event, bringing together creators whose audiences aligned with pop culture, collectibles, K-pop and fandom communities. The event was designed to generate authentic social content while giving attendees exclusive access to themed experiences celebrating the film and its growing fanbase.
Throughout the event, influencers explored a variety of interactive activations including a KPop Demon Hunters x Pop! Yourself experience, norigae charm-making station, glitter tattoos, Korean shaved ice, exclusive Funko and Loungefly merchandise, a fan costume contest and a first look at a custom Derpy art installation by artist Troy Lamarr Chew II. The immersive environment encouraged creators to capture and share content organically while engaging with fellow fans throughout the celebration.
MKM managed influencer sourcing, guest list coordination, event communications, RSVP management and on-site creator support to ensure a seamless experience for both the client and participating influencers.
