Se7en 30th Anniversary - Influencer Marketing

To honor the 30th anniversary and newly remastered 4K UHD release of Se7en, Warner Bros. wanted a campaign that would both celebrate the legacy of David Fincher’s iconic thriller and spark fresh conversation among film fans — without spoiling the film’s unforgettable final twist.

We leaned into the most legendary and meme-worthy moment of the film — “What’s in the box?” — and created a limited-edition influencer mailer that paid subtle homage to the unforgettable ending.

Each gift was packed in a mysterious, minimalist box, complete with a fragile sticker and even a touch of dust and dirt for added realism, channeling the haunting aesthetic of the film’s final scenes.

We sent this custom mailer to 50 hand-selected creators across film, entertainment, pop culture, and genre/thriller verticals. Recipients were encouraged to unbox and share the experience in creative, suspenseful ways — teasing the mystery while showing off the remastered 4K UHD disc (restoration overseen by Fincher himself).
