Moana x Funko – Influencer Marketing

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Moana, MKM partnered with Funko to concept, design and execute a custom influencer gifting campaign highlighting the newest wave of collectible POP! figures inspired by the beloved Disney film.

The campaign centered around a fully custom treasure chest-inspired mailer designed to immerse creators in the world of Moana from the moment they opened the box. The experience featured a replica of Moana's necklace on the exterior, ocean sound effects upon opening, a custom coconut scent reveal and three hidden compartments housing collectible characters from the anniversary collection.

The mailer was developed to create a highly shareable unboxing experience while celebrating the film's legacy and driving awareness for the new Funko POP! release. MKM managed creative concepting, packaging development, influencer coordination, fulfillment and campaign execution.
